Since 1988, The Soft Brick Company has been
the UK’s leading manufacturer and installer of soft play structures and products. Based in the North of England, our factory is home to our expert design and engineering teams, as well as industry-leading artists and manufacturing line-up. Our recent projects span the UK and international markets, delivering bespoke play spaces that
cater to a wider range of ages and abilities than
ever before—from traditional soft play through to adventure play and high-energy ninja-style agility. By combining these elements into a single facility, we create dynamic spaces that encourage longer visits and boost repeat footfall.
To complement our traditional soft play range, we’ve developed APE-X—a unique range of physically
engaging equipment blending ninja-style obstacles with problem-solving, decision-making, and route-planning. APE-X offers an inclusive, exciting experience where success isn’t just about speed but strategy and exploration.
Our TAG-X RFID system enhances the APE-X experience with six interactive games (and more
in development) and a unique battery-powered design that allows for quick installation and easy relocation—ideal for operators seeking to refresh their spaces with minimal disruption.
We’ve seen a rise in demand for agility-focused equipment and traditional soft play as trampoline parks diversify their offerings. By replacing trampoline beds with multi-generational play zones, operators can increase appeal and extend the length of family visits.
We’ve also expanded into the recreation of intellectual property (IP) as bespoke soft play theming, including a collaboration with Aardman
to create a unique range of soft play kits. These incorporate the beloved and instantly recognisable Shaun the Sheep and Timmy Time characters, adding a sense of wonder and familiarity for children and families.
