ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
APPLICATION PERIOD FALL: APPLICATION PERIOD SPRING: October 1 to July 1: First time students outside the U.S. August 1 to November 1: All students October 1 to August 1: Students inside the U.S.
October 1 to April 1 (Early), June 1 (Late): Graduate (Master’s) students
HOW TO APPLY
1. Submit a Cal State Apply online or a Paper Application with $70 application fee (non-refundable)
2. English language proficiency:
Undergraduate:
TOEFL - 61 iBT or IELTS - 6.0 or with 5.5 Band score in each section
Graduate:
TOEFL - 80 iBT or IELTS - 6.5
Other accepted exams and exemption:
See website above
3. Original or certified copies of in-progress or final transcripts:
Undergraduate:
High school (or secondary and higher secondary) transcripts, mark sheets or grade reports with literal English translation
Undergraduate Transfer:
All college or university, and High School transcripts with English translation are required.
Graduate:
University transcripts or mark sheets with literal English translation; college transcripts for transfers
4. A copy of graduation certificate (if applicable)
5. Financial document (no older than 6 months) from sponsors showing the amount and source of support for a minimum of one school year of study. For details, please review the estimated yearly cost table
6. A copy of the biographic information/photo page in your passport

ADDITIONAL UNDERGRADUATE TRANSFER INFORMATION:
• Lower Division Transfers: 1-59 units
• Upper Division Transfers: 60 + units
• GPA varies according to majors.
• Good standing in last college attended
