AARON SCHULETER
UNITED STATES MARINES
I looked up to my Grandfather who was a World War II United States Marine and I wanted to follow in his footsteps by enlisting. I served in the United States Marines and was deployed to Afghanistan. My job was to detect and defuse enemy explosives and earned a Purple Heart medal. I am thankful for the Veterans Education Program because it gave me structure in my life again and something to look forward to. I am very proud to be a Fresno State Bulldog. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration-Therapy and have been accepted to continue my education by earning a master’s degree in social work from Fresno State.
