Love the colt, but have no where to let him grow up? All of our foals can stay at Alborak for $200/month or $2000/year which includes board and farrier. They grow up in a group of young horses on mountain pastures. If you choose to take him home, he will be weaned and ready to go December 1, 2021.
Sire: Proven performance, soundness, and longevity. At 18 years of age, Belshazzar is still sound and competing in the 1.20m and 1.30m jumpers as well as the Intermediate level of eventing. Covid has prevented him from participating in the Advanced level of eventing and the FEI divisions. Pre-covid, he success- fully completed numerous FEI classes up the CCI4* level in eventing. He is by the KWPN stallion Beach Boy. Beach Boy is sired by Nurzeus whose offspring have earned more than 3.5million DM. His dam is by the equally famous Lucky Boy xx. Beach Boy’s impressive pedigree is confirmed by his performance and breed- ing results in Germany, Holland, and Sweden.
Belshazzar’s dam (Aphrodite) is the full sister to the dam of Buenos Aires (Amphora). Buenos Aires was the first Canadian Warmblood to participate in Eventing at the Olympics in 2008.

Dam: Bolero is by the French Stallion Kaiser De La Cour. Kaiser De La Cour show jumped to the 1.60m level. As a young horse, he won the 5-year-old national championship for jumpers and was also the top of the 6-year-old class
a year later. He also had success in the hunter ring in Florida. Her dam line includes the great Nimmerdor, along with Lucky Boy xx, Farn, and Der Lowe xx. She has combined duties as a riding horse with being a broodmare. She is still sound to ride and her foals have all been wonderful to work with. This is a mare that produces quality offspring for just about anyone.
