Sire: Her sire, Nirvana, aka “Kobe”, is a special prospect, with a promising future in sport. In Sept 2016 he was licensed by CWHBA. He is an elegant guy, with big movement and a very correct and beautiful jump. His sire, Novalis, is a proven jumper stallion, who is exceptionally well bred. Novalis one of the few sons available from the legendary Jus De Pomme. Jus de Pomme was the double Gold Medal winner in Show Jumping at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, and was the only horse to compete with no jumping faults. Novalis’s dam line is also equally as impressive. His dam, is the Ster Preferent mare Jacintha whose sire is G Ramiro Z. G Ramiro Z has been labeled the “Stallion OF THE CENTURY” and is once again listed as the # 1 leading Sire of Jumpers, as well as the #20 leading sire
for Dressage Horses as listed in the WBFSH International Breeding Guide 1999. Novalis’s granddam the Preferent mare Fantasia is a full sister to the Dutch Stallions “Wellington” and “Elberton”. The great grand sire is Nimmerdor, was
the KWPN stallion of the Century 2000”. Also in Novalis’ pedigree are Primo
de Bruyeres, Night and Day, Alme, Farn, and Lucky Boy. Novalis himself was a strong competitor in the jumper ring, having shown in North America and Europe to Grand Prix- 1.50m under riders Markus Beerbaum, Marc Houtzager, and Laura Kraut.
Dam: Nova’s dam Delight is by Dammar who’s breeding goes back to Dublin and Evergreen, both exceptional stallions. Dublin in dressage and Evergreen in show jumping. Her dam is by the stallion Consul. Consul continues to be one of the leading sires at Iron Spring Farm and is known for producing remarkable athletes for every discipline. Among his international stars are the show jumper Judgement ISF and the four-star eventer Critical Decision. His daughter, the Keur mare Hivona, is a Produce of Dam winner in Dressage at Devon and continues to be one of the top producing broodmares in the KWPN-NA.
