Event Chair’s Message
Welcome Everyone! We are So honoured that you are with us today. Such commitment from everyone who had a part in creating this special day cannot be overstated. Elaborate statements of thanks would never be enough...so to each one that took part, a simple “Thank You” from the bottom of my heart.
One of my favorite expressions is from Newfoundland... “Come From Away”. And we all did - two legged and four. From times long past to as recent as today, great time, effort, and tenacity brought us all together for a celebration of mentorship, generosity, and the power of volunteerism.
Allow me to summarize with a bit of whimsical musing...
Generosity and Collaboration ...the Perfect Recipe
Take one giant portion of mentorship from unsurpassed teachers, add the gift of the perfect equine facility and mix well.
Blend in the vision of the CSHA, the time of volunteers, Alberta small businesses, from across the prov- ince, and infectious enthusiasm.
Gently fold in the generous support of sponsors from every sector of industry to bind altogether. Leven with leading edge digital communication, promotion and advertising provided by Equestrian Events and watch as horses and people come together for a couple of Alberta afternoons to savor ele- gant Alberta horses and a sense of Community.
Decorate with sprinkles and smiles and give generously to the Scholarship Fund at the AEF for second- ary education in the field of equestrianism.
JOHN & BEEZIE MADDEN DEVELOPING RIDERS & HORSES FOR COMPETITION. This once in a life time teaching symposium educates coaches, trainers, riders, breeders, spectators and is a vehicle to involve as much of what Alberta has to offer as possible. Relish Alberta ingenuity, world class horses and gifted riders, at a stunning Alberta made facility, while enjoying the incredible opportunity to learn from international horsemasters, John and Beezie Madden. Hosted by the Canadian Sport Horse Association - Alberta Chapter, at the newly constructed Eventyre Farm, situated in the foothills southwest of Calgary, we welcome all to attend this unique event! A Recipe for a Perfect Day!
