İşte “Gülü Sevmek” (Loving Rose) adlı sanat koleksiyo- numun arkasında yatanlar için bir önsöz:
“Güzelliğin anlamı kişiden kişiye değişir. Bu değiştirilebi- lir bir şeydir, ancak ben kendi hayal gücümle uyumlu şekilde tablolarımda güzel olanı yansıtmaya çalışıyorum. Doğaya baktığımda, renklerin sonsuzluğunu, çeşitliliğini ve sahip oldukları inanılmaz uyumu görüyorum ve çok heyecanla- nıyorum, bir kez daha hayata aşık oluyorum. Bunları kulla- narak bazı şeyler üretmek istiyorum. İnsanları mutlu eden renklerle uğraşmayı çok seviyorum ve bu müthiş renklere dayalı kompozisyonlar yaratmaktan çok hoşlanıyorum. Yaptığım şey aslında doğadan ilham almak ve sadece onu taklit etmek. Bu kendi hayal gücümle birleştiğinde beni sonsuza götürüyor. Yaptığım soyut resimlerin yanı sıra, işte bu yüzden genellikle kadın silüetlerini resimlerimde kullanıyorum. Kadın güzeldir, çekicidir ve doğurgandır. Ka- dın, her gün yeni bir şeyler yaratan doğa gibi üretkendir. Sürekliliği sağlayan kadındır.
Kadınlarımı renklerle ve farklı kıyafetlerle süslüyorum ve aslında güzel şeyleri bir araya getiriyorum.
Hayatın güzel ve çirkin tarafı, hayatı nasıl değerlendir- diğimize göre değişir. Bu bizim bakış açımıza bağlı. Örne- ğin, bu muhteşem doğada vahşi bir hayvan gördüğümüz- de, onu korkunç bir tür olarak da nitelendirebiliriz veya hayvanın üzerindeki renklere odaklanabilir ve ne kadar güzel bir canlı olduğuna karar verebiliriz. Hayatta yaşanan olaylar da gerçekten buna benzerdir.
Kadınlarımın gözleri yok, hepsi gözlük kullanıyor, fakat hepsi dekor amaçlı. Çünkü hayatı her zaman hayal gücü- ne odaklanarak hayal etmek istedikleri ve dünyalarını her gün genişletecekleri şekilde görüyorlar. Hayatlarının her anında “sevgiyi” yaşıyorlar ve seviyorlar.
Here is the foreword of what lies behind my art collec- tion named “Loving Rose”
“The meaning of beauty di ers from person to person. It’s something changeable but I’m trying to re ect the one that is beautiful on my paintings in accordance with my own imagination. When I look at the nature, I see the eternity of colors, the diversity and the unbelievable har- mony they have, and I get very excited, I fall in love with life once again. By using these,I want to produce some things. I extremely enjoy dealing with colors that make people happy and I really like creating compositions based on these lovely colors. What I do is actually being inspired by the nature and simply imitating it. This, when combined with my own imagination,takes me up to the eternity. Apart from the abstract paintings I make, that’s why I’m working with women silhouettes often. Wom- an is the one who is beautiful, attractive and fertile. The woman is the one who is productive just like the nature which presents us everyday a new creation. The woman is the one who provides the continuity.
I decorate my women with colors and di erent clothes and I actually bring the beautiful things together.
The beautiful and the ugly sides of life are shaped accord- ing to the way we see life. It depends on our point of view. For instance, when we see a wild animal in this georgeous nature, we can either think that it’s such a scary species or we can focus on the colors that the animal consists of and we can conclude that it’s such a beautiful creature. The events taking place in life are just like this indeed.
My women don’t have any eyes, they are all having a glasses instead, but they are all decorative ones. Be- cause they see life in a way that they want to see along with their imagination, with always focusing on the beau- ty and enlarging their own worlds everyday. They live “love” in every moment of their lives and they just love.”
