Bu güzel meydanın hemen ardından şehir merkezinde ge- zerken kulağımıza müzik sesleri geliyor. Şehrin futbol stad- yumunun orada bir festival olduğunu görüyoruz. Festival spor festivali. Sporu, futbolu çok seven bu ülkede yaz mevsi- mi geldi mi her hafta bir festival oluyor. Bize de spor festivali denk geliyor. Bütün gün boyunca insanlar müzik eşliğinde eğlenirken çocuklar için kurulmuş parklarda da festival ala- nında çocuklar da aileleri ile beraber eğleniyorlar. Ve işin gü- zel yanı ise dünyaca meşhur futbolcular Cluj Stadyumu’nda maça hazırlanıyorlardı. Barcelona’nın yıldız oyuncaları ile Ro- manya’nın eski yıldız oyuncaları burada dostluk, barış adına futbol oynamaya hazırlanıyorlardı. Festivalsiz bir Cluj yazın düşünülemiyor.
Cluj Central Park
Cluj’un merkezinde eşi benzeri bulunmayan bir park var. Aynı New York’taki gibi Central Park olarak anılıyor. Şehrin en büyük ve en güzel yerlerinden burası. Yeşil doğasıyla dikkat çektiği gibi kocaman baş döndüren güzellikte gölü de bulu- nuyor. Hem yeşil hem de masmavi sular insana inanılmaz bir rahatlık veriyor. Central Park, Cluj’un en kalabalık yerlerinden biri. İnsanların özellikle de bol bol yazın zaman geçirdikleri, eğlendikleri yer burası. Piknik alanları, restoranlar olduğu gibi suda da bir çok aktivite yapılıyor. Deniz bisikleti binmek is- teyenler, kano yapmak isteyenler de buradalar. Central Park, Cluj’da en ilgi gören yerlerden biri. Turizmin kalbi, şehrin merkezi, buluşma noktası. Yemyeşil ağaçları, kuşları, ördek- leri ile adeta yer yüzündeki cennet burası.
Cluj Botanik Bahçesi
Cluj şehrinin yüzde 70’lik kısmı ormanlardan, ağaçlardan meydana geliyor. Durum böyle olunca şehirde insan kendini botanik bahçesinde gibi hissediyor. Ve bunun üstüne de halâ Clujlular yeşile bahçeye parka doyamayıp bir botanik bahçe- si daha yapmışlar. Bu botanik bahçesi Avrupa’nın en büyük botanik bahçelerinden biri. Dünyanın her köşesinden bitki- ler, ağaçlar getirilmiş ve oldukça zengin bir bahçe oluşturul- muş. İnsan keyifle geziyor. Göller, göletler, dünyanın çeşitli köşelerinden getirilen bitki ve çiçeklerle adını dünyada du- yuran bir bahçe burası. Japon Bahçesi, Çin Bahçesi, gül bah- çesi, kaktüsler... İnsan bir gününü rahatlıkla buraya ayırabilir.
Cluj Surları
Cluj öyle bir şehir ki tarihi dokusunu bugüne kadar koruya- bilmiş ender şehirlerden biri. Bugün her ne kadar yeni şehir inşa edilmiş olsa da eski şehri çok daha etkileyici. Şehrin en güzel köşelerinden biri de tarihi şehir surları. Bu şehir surları 1200’lü yılların başında yapılıyor. Özellikle Moğol istilası dö- neminde çok yoğun kullanılıyor. 16 kilometre uzunluğunda inşa edilmiş olan surların bir kısmını bugün halâ görebiliyo- ruz. Surlar bu şekildeki ihtişamlı haline 1400’lü yılların sonun- da Osmanlı saldırılarına karşı geliştiriliyor ve güçlendiriliyor. Bugün turistler de üstlerine çıkarak hem tarihi hissediyorlar hem de surlarda gezebiliyorlar.
Transilvanya Müzesi
Bu güzel şehir tam bir müzeler şehri. Birbirinden güzel mü- zelerin adresi burası. Bizi en çok etkileyen müzelerden biri de Transilvanya Müzesi oluyor. Çünkü o zamanki hayatlar, kültür tam anlamıyla bu müzede görülüp, hissedilip, yaşanıyor.
Kocaman bir açık hava müzesi olan bu dev alan yemyeşil. Ve bu yeşil alanın içinde yer alan yapıların hepsi de Transilvanya Bölgesi’nde kullanılmış, gerçek yapılar. Transilvanya’nın farklı bölgelerinden çıkarılıp buraya getirilmiş ve halâ özgün bir şe- kilde yapılar saklanıyor. Kimisi ahşaptan yapılmış evler, kimisi taştan.. Kiminin çatıları çalıdan çırpıdan, kimilerinin kiremit- ten.. Bölgeye, iklime göre bu mimariler hep farklılık göstermiş. Ve bu da en güzel bu açık hava mezesinde görülüyor.
Immediately after visiting this beautiful square, we hear music sounds when we wander in the city center. We see that there is a festival near the stadium. The festival is a sport festival. Every week in summer, there is a festival in this country as they like sport and football. So our vis- it coincides with a festival. When people enjoyed music, children also spent enjoyable time in parks with their par- ents. And the good thing was the famous football players were getting ready for a match in Cluj Stadium. The stars of Barcelona and the old star players of the Romania were preparing to play football here in the name of friendship and peace. One can’t imagine Cluj without a festival in summer.
Cluj Central Park
There is a unique park in the center of Cluj. It’s called Central Park just like in New York. This is one of the biggest and most beautiful places in the city. It draws attention with its green nature and it has a huge dazzling lake. Both greenery and blue waters offer incredible comfort. Cen- tral Park is one of the most crowded places in Cluj. This is where people spend time, especially in the summer. There are many activities in the water in addition to picnic areas and restaurants. Those who want to ride a sea bike and want to do canoeing are also here. Central Park is one of the most interesting places in Cluj. The heart of tourism, the city center, the meeting point... With lush trees, birds, and ducks, this is a paradise on earth.
Cluj Botanical Garden
About 70 percent of the city of Cluj is covered with trees and forests. Thus, the city itself seems like a botanical garden. And on top of that, habitants of Cluj still were not satisfied with greenery, park and gardens and made another botanical garden. This botanical garden is one of the greatest botanical gardens in Europe. Plants and trees were collected from every corner of the world and a very rich garden was created. People wander with pleasure. This is a garden with its lakes, ponds, plants and flowers brought from various corners of the world, and thus it is known accordingly. Japanese Garden, Chinese Garden, rose garden, cactus .. one can spent at least one day here.
Cluj Walls
Cluj is such a city, it is one of the few cities that has pre- served its historic texture until today. Although the new city is built today, the old city is much more impressive. One of the most beautiful corners of the city is the historic city walls. These city walls are built around in the early 13th century. Especially during the Mongolian invasion period, it was used intensely. We can still see the parts of the walls built in 16 km length. The walls had been developed and fortified against Ottoman attack at the end of the 1400s. Nowadays tourists go up there and feel the history and travel around the walls.
Transylvania Museum
This beautiful city is a real city of museums. It is the meeting point of museums that are glamorous. One of the most impres- sive museums for us was the Transylvania museum since the living style of that period can only be seen, felt and experienced in it.
This giant space is a huge open-air museum. And all of the structures that are located in this green area are used in the Transylvania region, in real constructions. It is extracted from the different regions of Transylvania and brought here, and still keeps its original form. Some of the houses are made of wood, some others are of stone... Some of the roofs are of brushwood, some others are of roof tile. These structures differ according to the region and the climate. And this is re- flected in the best way in the open-air museum.
