En iyi hatırladığınız çocukluk hayaliniz neydi? Benim- ki uzaya gitmekti. Rengarenk uzay ışıklarının, yıldızların, gezegenlerin arasında uçmak, çocukça bir neşe içinde uzayı keşfetmekti istediğim...
Aslında, bu hayalim büyüdükçe hiç değişmedi. O par- lak gökyüzüne, bilinmeyene olan ilgim hep devam etti.
Bana bu hissi en iyi ne yaşatabilir diye düşündüğümde, kendimi gezi listemin ilk sıralarına İzlanda’yı eklemiş ola- rak buldum. Evet, KUZEY IŞIKLARI’nı görmek...
Birkaç yıldır planladığım bu geziyi ancak, 2016 Şubat ayı ortalarında gerçekleştirebildim. Bu gezi bana nasıl hissettirdi, sizlerle de paylaşmak istedim.
Seyahate çıkmadan önce detaylı bir araştırma yapmak önemli. Gezip görülecek ve keşfedilecek yerler, yeme- içme ile ilgili lezzet durakları, ulaşım...
İzlanda için öncelikli olan, kuzey ışıklarını gözlemlemek olduğu için planımın ana rotasına Reykjavik oturdu.

Reykjavik sits on the main course of my plan, because it is a priority for Iceland to observe the northern lights.
THY’nin direkt İzlanda uçuşu olmadığı için önce Nor- veç/Oslo‘ya inip, bir gece kalıp, sonrasında da İzlanda/ Reykjavi’ e geçtim... Oslo havaalanından merkeze trenle çok rahat gidilebiliyor. İki hat var, biri express ve 25 da- kika sürüyor. Diğeri ise, 35 dakika süren normal hat. 10 dakikalık fark için çok daha pahalı olan express’i tercih etmenize hiç gerek yok.
Merkeze geldiğinizde tren istasyonunun hemen dışın- da sizi devasa bir aslan heykeli karşılıyor. Şehir merkezi- nin sembolü olmuş. Fotoğraf için ilk durak burası.
Alışveriş yapabileceğiniz en işlek caddesi ise, ‘’Karl Jo- hans Gate’’ caddesi.
Merkeze çok yakın olan Nobel ödüllerinin verildiği bina, sadeliği ile dikkat çekiyor. Oslo Opera Binası ise, heybetli, gösterişli olması ile görülmeye değer.
Since Turkish Airlines does not have a direct ight to Iceland, I rst got o to Norway / Oslo, stayed for one night and then I went to Iceland / Reykjavik. The center can be easily reached by train from Oslo airport. There are two lines, one express and takes 25 minutes. The other one is a normal line that lasts for 35 minutes. There is no need to choose express, which is much more expensive for a 10-minute di erence.
When you come to the center, you are welcomed by a huge lion sculptor just outside the train station. It be- came the symbol of the city center. This is the rst stop for photography.
The busiest street you can shop is the “Karl Johans Gate” street.
The building, on which the Nobel prizes are given and which are very close to the center, draws attention with its simplicity. Oslo Opera House is worth seeing with its imposing, ashy appearance.
