• Sevin der. Herkesi, her şeyi yargılamadan sevin. Mesela, bazı meseleler asla tesadüf değildir. “Sevgi öğretmendir, ama onu kazanabilmek gerekir” der Dostoyevski. Sonra- sında da her zaman sevmek gerekir diye ekler. Sevmek- ten hiç vazgeçmeyin; ama tabiatı, ama bir çocuğu, ama bir sokak kedisini... Hatta en tehlikelisini, bir insanı sevin hiç çekinmeden. Sevin ki sevgiyi kazanın sevgili okur. Siz hep var olun.
• İnsanları tanımak için istek uyandırır. Mesela, kimileri kitaplara benzer sevgili okur, içlerine bakmadan tanıya- mazsınız. Stephen King, “Sessiz insanlar, en gürültülü zi- hinlere sahiptir” der. Selam olsun zihinlerinde güzellikler saklayanlara, onlar da var olsunlar.
• Umut verir. Mesela, başımıza ne vakit fena bir şey gel- se, sanki hiç geçmeyecekmiş gibi hüzne boğarız kendi- mizi. Tuhaf. Puşkin, “Hayat seni kandırırsa, üzülüp kızma. Kederini göm. Güzel günler gelecektir inan bana” der. Bu sabah, kederleri gömüp Puşkin’e inanmayı deneyin sevgili okur. Kim bilir, belki o gün bugündür. Var olun.
• En önemlisi de her zaman “Var olun” diyor. Ne kadar naif değil mi? Birilerinin sadece “var olmasını” dilemeye, bunu duymaya nasıl da ihtiyacımız var. “Başarılı ol, bugün iyi iş çıkar” demiyor. Yahut hafta sonu ise “Bugün harika bir anne/baba ol ve çocuklarınla zaman geçir”, “İyi bir evlat ol ve aileni ziyarete git” de demiyor. “Var ol” diyor... Bu kadar.
