Bir hayvan sever olarak sokak hayvanları için neler yapıyorsunuz?
Arabamda sürekli kuru mama taşırım. Ne zaman yol- da aç bir kedi, köpek görsem karınlarını doyurmak, az da olsa çorbada tuzumun olduğunu bilmek bana huzur ve- riyor. Ayrıca, hayvanlar yararına yapılan tüm etkinliklere katılmaya çalışıyorum. Örneğin, geçen hafta bu kapsam- da Küçükçiftlik Park’ta yapılan Sokak Festival’ine gittik Barut’la birlikte.

İnsan olsun, hayvan olsun, eğer imkanınız varsa, kim- sesiz bir canı sahiplenmenin kişisel gelişimimizi ve insani melekelerimizi geliştirme yönünde hem kendimize hem de yaşadığımız topluma çok büyük bir artısı olduğunu düşünüyorum. İnsan bu dünyaya sadece var olmak için gelmemeli; yaşamın döngüsünde kendisi ve çevresini neler kattığı da önemli. Ayrıca, barınaklar dururken pet- shop’larda sağlıksız koşullar altında tutalan hayvanların satın alınmasını anlamıyorum. Hayvan sahibi olmak is- teyenler için öncelikli adres barınaklar olmalı. Herkes bu bilinçte olursa bu işin hunharca ticaretini yapanların da önüne geçmiş oluruz.
Peki ya hayal ettiğiniz dünya?
Bazen Tim Burton filmlerindeki gibi büyük ve gös- terişli, absürt ve fantastik, hayvanların egemenliğinden oluşan bir dünyada yaşasak her şey çok daha zevkli ve eğlenceli olabilirdi diye düşünüyorum.

What are you doing as an animal lover for the street animals?
I have dry animal food all the time in my car. When- ever I see a hungry cat or dog on the Street I try to feed them, which gives me peace. Besides, I am trying to at- tend all animal-related activities. For example, we went to Street Festival in Küçükçiftlik Park with Barut.
Our motto is # AdoptDontBuy! Why should people adopt an animal?
I believe it is a huge plus both for our society and for ourselves in terms of our personal development and human capabilities when we can adopt, or protect if we can, a lonely and unfortunate living, either animal or hu- man. Humans should not live just for the sake of living but must work for better causes to contribute the life cy- cle around them. Besides, I do not get it why people buy from pet shops the animals kept under unhealthy condi- tions, while shelters are full of beautiful animals. The rst address must be shelters when one wants to get a pet. If we all have such a mindset, people who are doing brutal business of animals will be stopped.
What is your dream world like?
Sometimes I imagine that it would be more fun and enjoyable if we were living in a world like Tim Burton mov- ies, stupendous and dashy, absurd and fantastic, and a world ruled by animals...
