They may have sel sh, unsatis ed personality, as they do not obey the rules.
These children are di cult to get on with at home and in so- cial life, as their social skills are weak, they tend to be egocentric.
They have di culty in obeying the rules of society.
Mothers and fathers demonstrating this attitude often play a passive role in the con ict. Whatever the child wants happens.

Mothers and fathers support the child but do not neglect to de ne the boundaries. They do not forget that the child is an individual and expected to behave appropriately accord- ing to the age. There is open communication, trust, and transparency within the family. As a result of this trust and compassion, they can easily express their feelings towards one another. E ective listening in the family environment and self-expression language is dominant.
With mutual love and respect, the child is given the op- portunity to explain his/her own thoughts and ideas. The child is free to make his/her own decisions, but the risks that may arise are de ned in advance.
Characteristics of the Child Raised in Democratic Family
They adapt to social norms and succeed in-group work. They are personally happy and self-con dent.
They may take responsibility and risk.
Their empathy skills are developed as well as they may
express their feelings.
