Yöresel Lezzetler
Filipinler deyince ilk olarak akla beyaz kumsallar ve tur- kuaz renkli denizi gelir; ama bence buna lezzetleri de ek- lenmeli. Filipinler, her damak tadına uygun yemek çeşitle- rine sahip. Bu durumdan dolayı, ülke mutfağı da turistlerin epey ilgisini çeken, farklı kültürlerin eşsiz bir birleşimini yansıtıyor. Etkileşim içinde oldukları ülkelerin etkileri de ülke yemeklerinde görülüyor. İspanyol, Malezya, Çin, Ja- pon ve Amerikan mutfağının izleri görülüyor. Her biri, asır- lar boyunca gelişen bu renkli mutfağa katkıda bulunmuş.
Filipin mutfağı denince akla adalara özgü damak tatla- rı gelmeli; çünkü 7000’den fazla ada var ve her bir adanın kendine has bir yemeği var. Filipinler mutfağı son derece doğal ürünler içeriyor. Greenbelt Park
Manila, turistlerin hiç sıkılacak vakit bulamadığı bir şehir. En az bu şehre üç gün ayırmak lazım; çünkü görül- mesi gereken yerler arasında bir de Green Belt Alışveriş Merkezi ve Parkı’da var. Park, dillere destan bir güzelliğe sahip. Havuzları, gölleri, balıkları, kilisesi, yemyeşil doğa- sıyla sanki bir botanik bahçesi. Bu parkın en büyük özelliği içinde organik sebze ve meyvelerin yetiştirildiği bahçenin olması. Papaya’dan tutun, ananasa, nane, patlıcan, doma- tese kadar birçok gıda yetiştiriliyor. Biz görünce çok şaşır- mıştık.

The Philippines is associated with white beaches and tur- quoise colour sea but it would be unfair if we overlook the local avours. The Philippines o ers food that appeal to every taste. Therefore, the local cuisine re ects a unique combination of diverse cultures that attract high level of in- terest from tourists. They use elements from the cuisines of countries they interact with. You can taste traces of Spanish, Malaysian, Chinese, Japanese and American cui- sines. Each of them contributed to this colourful cuisine in the course of centuries.
You would expect Philippines to be associated with a- vours speci c to the islands because there are 7000 islands and each island has its own unique meal. Natural products are used in the cuisine of Philippines. Ingredients are served in the most natural form. Particularly, seafood is in the top of the list as staple food of this cuisine. People in this country would eat anything that comes from the sea because they are a part of a sea nation and they like seafood. They think they owe their healthy and long life to seafood.
Greenbelt Park
Tourists do not have time to get bored in Manila. You need to spare at least three days for this city because there is also Green Belt Shopping Mall and Park among places that must be seen. The Park has a legendary beauty. It is like a botani- cal garden with pools, lakes, sh, church, green nature. The most important part of this park is the garden for cultivat- ing organic fruit and vegetables. They grow many products from papaya to pineapple, mint, eggplant and tomatoes. We were surprised when we saw it.
