    + REGULATES HORMONES
Low-fat diets are not appropriate for pets with endocrine disease. Fat cells are considered an endocrine organ because they produce hormones such as leptin—a major hormone that orchestrates and regulates all other hormones. Hormones are negatively affected by both grain and grain-free dry kibble, due to their high carbohydrate
content which can cause thyroid and adrenal disruption. Our products are 2% or less in carbohydrates from added fermented vegetables.
Answers Pet Food contains animal-based saturated fats required for hormone production. Processed diets contain plant-based fats like canola oil and saf ower oil.
+ PREVENTS AND IMPROVES SYMPTOMS Good bacteria can prevent and improve endocrine disease, while bad bacteria can contribute to it. Fermentation is a superior source and delivery system for providing good bacteria. All of our formulas contain fermented ingredients which provide a broad spectrum of billions of good bacteria.

BENEFITS
OF ANSWERSTM RAW DIET FOR ENDOCRINE DISEASE
+ PROMOTES ENDOCRINE HEALTH
The nutrients and bene ts of whole foods can’t be fully replicated through supplements. It’s better to get vitamin D, an important modulator of the endocrine system, from whole foods rather than synthetic sources. Answers DetailedTM formulas and AdditionalTM Fermented Fish Stock are an excellent whole food source—they contain fermented cod livers, a superior source of vitamin D.
Because pets can’t manufacture essential
fatty acids in their bodies, they need to get these from raw food. Omega-3 fatty acids are important to the structure and function of cell membranes in the central nervous system; they play a critical part in brain activity and the function of the endocrine system. Our fermented sh stock contains 1200 mg of omega-3s per ounce.
+ OMITS TOXINS
Plastic contains a variety of additives such as plasticizers (also called phthalates) and heavy metals such as cadmium, mercury, and lead. These chemicals affect glands and hormones that regulate many bodily functions, and are known to interfere with endocrine systems. Our packaging minimizes any use of plastic and does not use high pressure pasteurization processing, which drives large amounts of plastic toxins into food.
