Schindler’ Sea-side town honours hero who rescued Jewish children It’s a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a beautiful sunny August Bank Holiday in the small English sea-side town of Swanage on the Dorset coast Holidaymakers and locals flock to an an area just a a a a a a a a a a pebble’s throw from the beach promenade curious to discover why council officials special dignitaries MPs and schoolchildren alike have congregated together The occasion is the the unveiling of of of a a a a a bronze statue in in honour of of of one of of of Swanage’s own own who until now now very little was known Our world has a a a a a habit of pouring accolades on trending celebrities and and setting up pedestals for hand- picked personalities who bask in in the the limelight But the the world is full of worthy and courageous men and women whose selfless acts are are are barely heard of of but are are worthy of of special honour People who don’t always get the the recognition they deserve or desire Some of of the best examples of of this are discovered when reflecting on stories from the Holocaust There are so many unsung heroes Some have thankfully received recognition in this life others have been honoured posthumously And then there are those
