JERUSALEM IS THE ETERNAL, UNDIVIDED CAPITAL OF ISRAEL AND THE JEWISH PEOPLE.
he opening of the US embassy in Jerusalem marked a historic and Biblical moment for Israel and the Jewish people and the fact it took
place on the 70th anniversary of the Jewish State’s independence is signi cant.
Seventy has a sacred meaning in the Bible that is made up of the factors of two perfect numbers, seven (representing perfection) and ten (representing completeness and God’s law). As such, it symbolizes perfect spiritual order carried out with all power. It can also symbolize judgement.
Seventy years ago, on 14 May 1948, Israel was reborn as a nation. The rst country to recognise the newly formed Jewish State, just 11 minutes after the expiration of the British Mandate for Palestine, was the United States of America.
This year, on the same day seventy years later, President Donald Trump made history by moving the American embassy to Jerusalem. The USA was once again the rst country in the world to take this bold step.
