TWO MILLION Brazilian Christians honour ISRAEL at Sao Paulo march
About two million Evangelical Christians waved Israeli ags and prayed for the Jewish state during the ‘March for Jesus’ on 31 May in Sao Paulo.
For the rst time in nearly 20 years, Jewish o cials were invited to attend the 2.5 mile parade.

Argentina cancels Israel football friendly over Palestinian threats
The anti-Israel lobby described the cancellation by Argentina of their match against Israel in June as a “victory for BDS”. However CUFI revealed that
the Argentinian Football Association
cancelled the match because of the Palestinian threats against Messi and the team.
The threats of violence, including death threats, came after the head of the Palestinian Football Association called for fans to “target Messi personally” and headed up a campaign against Messi and his team ahead of their nal World Cup warm-up friendly in Jerusalem.
Israeli aid and rescue teams help in Guatemala after deadly volcanic eruption
A team of Israeli aid workers from relief organization IsraAID have been helping in Guatemala to distribute relief aid following two devastating volcanic eruptions.
Already on location were 45 Guatemalan rst responders who
were trained earlier this year by
Israeli volunteer rescue and recovery organization ZAKA. Israel’s Foreign Ministry also sent $10,000 emergency aid to Guatemala, which became the second country to open its embassy in Jerusalem in May.
Six specialist medics from Israel also travelled to Guatemala to support health authorities in the care of survivors.
King’s College London adopts international de nition of anti-Semitism; introduces new rules against disruptive student protests
The news was welcomed by CUFI after a number of incidents at King’s College where Israeli speakers and pro- Israel events have been disrupted by violent student protests.
