Pray for your household
As we approach Passover, the Biblical account of God’s protection over the Jewish people resonates with the current situation facing the world today. Exodus 12:13 says, “Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.”
The believer in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob has a tremendous hope in the midst of adversity. For the Christian, this picture of the Passover is further fulfilled by the Passover Lamb,
Jesus Christ, whose sacrifice on the Cross was a sufficient provision, leading the Apostle Paul to pen in Romans chapter 8, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” (verse
35) and continuing in verse 38, “I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
 PRAYER POINTS
• Lord, I pray for your protection over me and my family; that any germs that I might be exposed to will not harm us.
• I pray special protection for my loved ones who are the most vulnerable.
• I declare that “the plague will pass over” my household. Thank you that you are with me in the midst of this trial.
