100 DAYS Since the Hamas Massacre
The 15th of January 2024 marked the 100th day since the Hamas massacre where more than 1,200 Israelis were murdered at the hands of vicious terrorists and more than 200 people were kidnapped and taken hostage inside Gaza. At the time of writing, there are still more than 100 people who are being held captive by Hamas.
The world has been quick to forget the atrocities carried out by Hamas that day. In fact, some people are now denying it even happened at all. This is why the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have put together a 45-minute film to show people the truth and allow people to stand as a witness to the atrocities that unfolded.
Des and Alex from the CUFI UK Team were invited by the Israeli Embassy in London to bear witness to the atrocities that took place on 7th October 2023. This video is not available to the public because of its graphic nature, and only a select few people have seen the film. They
will be writing about what they saw in the next Torch Magazine, but there is no doubt in their minds that what Hamas tried to carry out was a genocide of Jews in the land of Israel.
The Hamas atrocities are a very real reminder that what happened in the Holocaust is not an isolated incident. The antisemitic hatred of the Nazis is alive and well in the hearts
of Hamas terrorists and other extremist groups that seek Israel’s destruction.
This reinforces the message that to affectively combat antisemitism we need to stand with Israel.
We are urging all of our supporters in the UK to make contact with their Member of Parliament (MP) and encourage them to do all they can to stand with Israel against Hamas.

Christians need to be strong in their advocacy for Israel, because there are few others speaking out for Israel. In contrast, the anti-Israel groups are much larger in number and politicians have told CUFI that they are inundated with anti-Israel messages, but only receive a handful of pro-Israel messages. This puts a lot of pressure on the government
to favour the Palestinians. We need to turn the tide. Our government is currently supportive of Israel, but that may not always be the case.
We must raise our voices and be effective in advocating for Israel. Israel’s cause is worthy of our support. The innocent hostages being held in Gaza are worth fighting for!
Write to your MP today. Tell them to stand with Israel and do all they can to bring Israel’s hostages home from Gaza.
