The year 2017 marks several important anniversaries with the Centenary of the Balfour Declaration and 50 years since the reuni cation of Jerusalem in 1967. These events will be highly contested by the anti- Israel lobby so CUFI has a major role in the year ahead to stand up and speak out for Israel.

As we look forward to a happy Christmas with family and friends we are very aware that the enemies of Israel take advantage of this season of “Peace and Goodwill towards men” to promote
their own distorted agenda. This year, at the same time as Christians celebrate Christmas, Jews around the world will be celebrating Hannukah, the festival
of lights. Please continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and that the Light of our Saviour will continue to shine in the darkness.
During the Autumn, CUFI-UK has been very active with advocacy for Israel with various petitions and campaigns. With over 10,000 emails sent to MPs, postcards
