Mekor Hachayim Sefer Chafetz Chayim
                                           Hilchot Esurei Lashon Hara

                                                           Kelal Heh
jealousy. This is absolute Lashon Hara from the perspective of the
                    Torah.

Be'er Mayim Chayim on page 275

K5/8. The Torah forbids degrading a fellow Jew and the remarks

are Lashon Hara even if the remarks are true and even if there
is only one speaker making the remarks and most certainly it is
forbidden if there are two speakers (11). The sin of Lashon Hara
is much greater if two speakers degrade the victim than if there
was only one speaker because people will more likely believe two
people than one person and the victim’s humiliation will be more
pronounced. Whenever the expression “Lashon Hara” is used
without qualification, it means in all circumstances, besides those
times when the expression “Lashon Hara” is used in the context of
                    circumstances that are specifically explained.
