Lodge 7 members rallied around U.S. Sec- retary of Labor Alex Acosta, who came to the FOP Hall on Labor Day and presented a rousing speech supporting Chicago Po- lice Officers. Secretary Acosta also inspired members with a message of how the federal government can support them, and related experiences to give them hope on the job.
