The Cost of Living
From Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder to depression to anxiety to panic to divorce to self-medicating – or worse – the cost of the job for Chicago Police Officers seems to be getting higher and higher. Only getting home safe remains a more important priority than officers taking care of themselves and getting the medical, emotional and spiritual help they need to perform their jobs. Experts in the field look at the toll the job is taking on Chicago Police Officers and what they can do to improve their physical and mental health.
