From Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder to depression to anxiety to panic to divorce to self-medicating – or worse – the cost of the job for Chicago Police Officers seems to be getting higher and higher. Only getting home safe remains a more important priority than officers taking care of themselves and getting the medical, emotional and spiritual help they need to perform their jobs.
