Answering the Call
As the stress of the job continues to skyrocket, Chicago Police Officers are asking for more help and more resources to support and improve their mental health. Lodge 7 is moving forward to answer that call with an unprecedented initiative to make resources available. First Vice President Mike Mette discusses some of the plans that he is spearheading, which include bringing in spe- cially trained experts to give members the confidential resources they have been asking for.
