Officer Jerome Turbyville Star #15952
Officer David Ramos Star #8560
On Nov. 15, 2017, Officer David Ramos noticed a man who was wanted for a dangerous carjacking out of Wheeling, where a woman and her two young children were also kid- napped. The offender drove the victims to Chicago, where the offender shoved them out of the car.
Officer Ramos observed the offender on Franklin Street and quickly waved down Officer Jerome Turbyville. Both officers waited for the offender to be clear of any citizens and then
grabbed him. When the offender was brought into the 18th district, he was positively identified as the suspect. Through keen observation and aggressive police work, a dangerous of- fender was removed from the streets of the City of Chicago.
It is with great appreciation that the Fraternal Order of Police Chicago Lodge 7 presents Officer Jerome Tur- byville and Officer David Ramos with distinguished service awards. d
