On July 18, 2010, Officer Michael Bailey was brutally murdered in an attempted armed robbery in front of his home.
After a lengthy investigation, the offender was arrested and found guilty of first-degree murder.
Due to the tireless efforts of these detectives and supervisors, a violent offender was removed from the city streets.
It is with great appreciation that Fraternal Order of Police Chicago Lodge 7 presents these detectives and supervisors with Distinguished Service Awards.
