Chicago Police Officers connect in neighborhoods and support worthy causes around the city through sports. Here’s a spotlight on some of the fun and competitive games and teams that officers are using
to stay active and represent the city in a positive way.
        14th District
14th District officers hit the court at Jo- sephine Academy of the Sacred Heart during its annual Jo Jamboree. The af- ternoon included a basketball clinic with WNBA superstar and four-time Olympic gold medalist Tami- ka Catchings.
CPD Soccer
      24th District
Active seniors and 24th District officers turned out for a friendly but competitive second annu- al Senior Pickleball Tournament at Warren Park. No matter the outcome, everyone certainly en- joyed the day.
Before heading off to San Diego for the U.S. Po- lice and Fire Championship Games, the Chicago Police Soccer Club warmed up with a few scrim- mages — including an intrasquad contest — in May and early June.
