‘Peace’ in with IceHogs for anti-bullying event
The Autism Program of Easterseals hosted an anti-bully- ing event at Rock House Kids.
The Autism Program of Easterseals, along with Peace Inc., whose mission is to help people in the community realize their potential for becoming self-sufficient, and the Rockford IceHogs played games, interacted with the participants and spent time listening to the children and their experiences.
A special thank-you to some amazing IceHog hockey play- ers, including Kyle Baun and Pierre-Cedric “Nacho” Labrie, and Jana Roy for an amazing job engaging group discussions about strategies to help the children if they experience bul- lying or see it happening.
A total of 5,415 individuals have been reached through the anti-bullying events. d
