Cops and kids
Some of the biggest smiles you’ll see on a Police Officer’s face happen when kids are around. Whether at schools, in the neighborhood or in the course of a regular day, Chicago cops find the time to regularly in- teract with children. Here are a few recent examples of officers engaging with their youngest supporters. d

O cers supported DRW College Prep students as they held a peace march on May 26 in the Homan Square neighborhood.
O cers of the 25th District got their hands dirty to help students at Mar- vin Camras Children’s Engineering School learn about vegetables and even plant a few.
