  Chicago Police Officers connect in neighborhoods and support worthy causes around the city through sports. In each issue, we’ll put a spotlight on some of the fun and competitive games and teams that officers are using to stay active and represent the city in a positive way.
     20th District Basketball
    Although the squad of 20th District officers didn’t pick up the win, the 3rd Annual Unity Basketball game with members of the local Boys and Girls Club continued to help build relationships between police and the com- munity.
CPD vs. Cook County Sheriffs Basketball
Playing for an important cause — the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation — Chicago Police Officers took on the Cook Coun- ty Sheriff’s Office at the United Center in their second annual fundraising game. CPD came out victorious on a special night dedicated to supporting the families of fallen and seriously injured officers.

CPD Enforcers
Football weather in April didn’t stop the CPD Enforcers from running their record to 3-0 after a dominant 47-point win over Columbus. Up next for the Enforcers is a rematch of the 2018 NPSFL championship game against the NYPD Finest squad on May 19.
15th District Basketball
The Austin All-Stars from the 15th District took to the court at Michele Clark Academic Prep as part of its “Final Four Tournament” in early April. The friendly games involving officers, residents and students helped further strengthen community ties.
