Cleaning up
this stress
With exposure to traumatic and critical incidents on the rise, fatigue a continuing factor, public and media scrutiny intensify- ing and enough sleep even harder to come by, stress levels for Chicago Police Officers are off the charts. What can they do to bet- ter deal with their stress and achieve the proper mental health and wellness they need to serve at an optimum level? The Department’s two-day Stress Manage- ment Seminar is providing some of the answers and offering the mental health support that Chicago Lodge 7 has been asking for.
