 Knights baseball
The Chicago Police and Fire Baseball Club continued to make its mark during the Knights inaugural season. Competing in the U.S. Police and Fire Championships in San Diego, the Knights finished just out of medal contention with a fourth-place finish.
On July 12, the team hosted the First Responders Charity Classic, taking on the Illinois State Police at Impact Field in Rosemont. A big crowd filled the stands to support both teams, as well as the Brotherhood for the Fall- en.

The Chicago Police Soccer Club also enjoyed the trip to San Di- ego for the U.S. Police and Fire Championships. The squad earned a bronze medal, defeat- ing San Bernardino in penalty kicks to reach the podium.
Track and Field
Marco Acevedo once again won medals in track and field at the U.S. Police and Fire Championships. Acevedo earned sil- vers in the javelin throw and long jump and added a bronze in the 100-meter dash. He has won six medals at the U.S. championships since 2016.
