    CLARICE ALLEN
Clarice Allen of Staunton, Va, passed away on December 6, 2018; we lost a treasured friend. She will be fondly remembered by members of Shenandoah Valley Decorative Painters, Capital Area Decorative Painters North Carolina, and Valley Tole Decorative Painters of Michigan for her love of painting and a life lived with grace. I am sure she is in heaven teaching all the other angels to paint.
LINDA BIERMAN
Linda Bierman was a dear friend and student, an avid painter, a member and board member of the Rocky Mountain Hi chapter here in Denver, Color., and the life of the party everywhere she went.
She was a very outspoken and a tirelessly active member right up until she and her husband moved to their dream home in the country, in Illinois, a year or so ago. Linda was our Ways and Means chair for a few years and was always trying to come up with new ideas, both to raise funds for our chapter and to interest new people in joining SDP and our chapter, or just interest new people in learning to paint.
She was fun, funny and never met a stranger. Linda was always signing up for a class or telling me what a great class she'd just taken. She was a regular attendee of the Las Vegas convention, and was recently at the OKC convention last October and talked about us meeting at the Wichita Conference in May.

BETTY J. HELD
Betty J. Held, one of the founding members of the Lehigh Valley Decorative Painters and a member of Pocono Painters, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019. She resided in Allentown, Pa. Betty will be missed by all of her painting friends.
LINDA MALLORY
Linda Mallory, a member of Indy Decorative Artists and our President, passed away on November 10, 2018. She was always smiling and kind. She encouraged us to keep trying and never give up on our art. She will be missed by all who knew her.
SUZANNA (SUZIE) SCHMITZ
As a folk artist, Suzie studied with Priscilla Hauser and became a Certified teacher. Later Suzie worked with JoSonya Jansen and became certified to teach in the folk art style that she loved.
As a founding member of the Indy Decorative Artists she continued to design, teach and share her talents. Suzie was a lifelong member of the Society of Decorative Painters and attended and worked many conventions.
She was a dear friend to all those who knew and traveled with her.
SALLY WEISKIRCHER
Sally Weiskircher, 78 of Meridian, Idaho, and a member of Idaho Heritage Artists passed away in October 2018 as a result of an auto accident. She joined ICHA in 1998 and was very active. She held most of the chapter offices and took care of retreat registration and monies for many, many years. Sally endeared herself to all members, both new painters and those with years of experience. She was always there to help and share her creative spirit. She was awarded SDP's Outstanding Chapter Member award in 2015.
She leaves behind her husband of 60 years, George, six children and their spouses, 24 grandchildren and 22 great- grandchildren. She has left a hole in our hearts.
