Mary McLean cda, bfa, m.ed. grew up on Cape Cod. Her first experiences with art were on the long train rides to Boston when her mother would occupy her time with pencils and paper. “She would draw something, talk to me about it, and I would copy it,” Mary recalls. Mary went on to major in art in college and to teach junior and senior high school art. One day she saw an ad in the newspaper inviting readers to paint a welcome slate. The rest is history! Decorative art has enriched her life for the past thirty years, and the journey continues. “There is so much more to learn. Thanks, Mom. You made all the difference!” You may write to Mary at 8 Sharon Ave., Norfolk, MA 02056 or email mcleanmdl@aol.com.
