The Bergkamp journey began with Melvin Bergkamp, who had a dream of making equipment better. He founded Bergkamp, Inc. in 1977 and began building machinery that would be easier to use.
Mel based the company on Midwestern values. Now, the company is known worldwide for its quality asphalt paving equipment, its innovative solutions, and its unwavering excellence in service and support.
Today, Mel’s sons Scott and Jason are building upon that foundation to achieve a higher purpose:
to make lives better by making roads better.
