Autumn is the most glorious season with the changing foliage in shades of red, yellow, orange, brown, purple, pink, magenta, blue, and greens. At this time of the year you can enjoy nature’s more splendid attire.
ACRYLICS BACKGROUND
Follow Step 1 on page 39 and the Color Placement Map on page 41 to paint the acrylic background.
COLORED PENCILS PAINTING
If you left any holes inside the leaves use Olive Green, Lime Peel and Moss Green to fill in. Tint with Chestnut in some areas. Paint the dark sections and spots on all leaves with Dark Umber.
LEAF 1
Apply Chocolate on the tip. Basecoat the central vein with Chestnut and the remainder of the leaf with Beige Sienna. Shade with Chestnut. Highlight with Seashell Pink and French Grey 10%. Go over the vein lines with Tuscan Red. Paint some blem- ishes with Tuscan Red. Tint with Blush Pink.
LEAF 2
Refer to Placement Map on page 40.
Apply Tuscan Red over the center vein. On 2a leaf, basecoat the green areas with Lime Peel and the red area with Poppy Red. Basecoat 2b leaf with Lime Peel+Moss Green+Kelly Green. Leaf 2c is Lime Peel on the left and Yellowed Orange on the right side. Paint the red dark sections with Tuscan Red.
Tint 2a leaf with Orange, Poppy Red and Blush Pink. Tint leaf 2d with Pink blended with Lime Peel.
