GRATEFUL FOR GROWTH
As we wrap up Summer and enjoy the Fall, we are working to create an exceptional Fredericksburg Retreat and an exciting 50th Anniversary Celebration in Las Vegas. We are deep in the planning for a 2022 yearlong commemoration of the Society of Decorative Painters.
My wish to meet you in person is coming true! I hope you are planning to attend the Fredericksburg Retreat and the 50th Anniversary Celebration – both will be great fun and inspiring.
At the office we are scurrying to keep up with all the fun, while maintaining day-to-day business.
I hope you enjoy this issue of The Decorative Painter. We tried a couple of new ideas; it was such a difficult choice for cover art for this issue, so we took inspiration from other periodicals and decided to do a front and back cover project. Both
are beautiful and very different. We also had two interesting ideas for Inspiration Corner, so we shared both with you. I hope you enjoy them.
In gearing up for Fall festivities, you may find yourself painting with a passion and reveling in the glow of a year well-spent. It has been a whirlwind for us and very gratifying. Thank you for your continued support of the Society and the Society’s Foundation! Happy Fall!
