 PREPARATION
Basecoat the entire clock using your favorite brush and Lamp (Ebony) Black. As I basecoated the houses, I did not use any water in my brush. Some background will show through here and there. Start from the back and work forward.
PAINTER’S TIP
Use the mop brush to soften all the floated color. Just pounce the mop up and down a few times where the color and water meet.
LET’S PAINT
HOUSE 1: House: Spice Pink. Door: Tomato Red. Shade un- der roof and next to the other houses: Lamp (Ebony) Black. Roof and windows: Camel. Using the liner brush, paint plaid stripes on the roof with very thin Tomato Red. When dry, re- inforce the square where plaid crosses with Deep Burgundy. HOUSE 2: House: Blue Harbor. Shade under roof: Lamp (Ebony) Black. Roof: Grape Juice. Highlight roof with Purple Cow. Windows: Camel. Door: Foliage Green.
