The Nominating Committee is entrusted with the task of presenting a slate of qualified candidates to guide the future of SDP. The Committee is pleased to present the candidates (see page 6) who have agreed to serve on your Board of Directors and as part of the 2022–2023 Nominating Committee. Their statements briefly outline their qualifications for elected office. You may vote for two (2) of the three (3) candidates for Board Member. Please vote by mail–in ballot to ensure
your voice is heard.
If you would like to nominate someone for 2022–2023, please send a write–in nomination. You must verify the candidate meets the necessary qualifications listed below as well as obtaining the nominee’s consent prior to the Annual Meeting on August 9th. Each candidate must be a member in good standing for the last three (3) consecutive years. The candidate for Vice President/President Elect is required to have previously served on the Board of Directors. All candidates need to be willing and able to communicate via email as well as attend in-person Board meetings (if necessary), conference calls, Zoom meetings, and the Annual Meeting. The Board Members will serve on committees as a Board Liaison and other assignments as designated by the Executive committee.
