Step 3: Add green to the top of the bird's head using #8 filbert brush. Double load, using Color Mix No. 1 and Color No. 7. Basecoat the wing using #4 filbert brush and Color Mix No. 1 + Color No. 7.
Tip: I like to use Q-tips when placing dots. The dot has a clear round outline and no color in the center. It's called the donut dot.
Step 4: Sideload the base of the wing using #8 filbert brush and Color Mix No. 2. Paint the beak using #2 round brush and Color Mix No. 2. Paint the eye as a donut dot by using a pointed Q-tip and Color Mix No. 2.
Step 5: Add comma strokes to the edge of the wing using #2 round brush and Color Mix No. 1. Tip the brush into Color Mix No. 2.
Step 6: Add yellow to the chest and belly of the bird's body using #4 filbert brush and Color Mix No. 3. Add comma strokes on the wing using #2 round brush and Color No. 7. The feathers on the head are painted with lines, using #10/0 liner brush and Color No. 9.
