 54 The Decorative Painter • ISSUE NO. 3, 2015
Painting on a glass surface isn’t as difficult as some may think. Gloss enamel paints are formulated for glass or non-porous surfaces. This project was created with
beginners in mind, but, no doubt, the advanced painter will enjoy how quickly they can complete this project.
PREPARATION
Wash the glass block to remove hand oils and residue. Sketch your pattern onto tracing paper; using graphite pa- per, transfer your pattern, without its details, onto the glass block. When painting on glass and when possible, use natural hairbrushes, such as Diane Trierweiler’s Signature Brushes, to avoid heavy brush strokes.
