PREPARATION
STEP 1: Using a sponge roller basecoat the background with Celery Green+Black Green (1:1). Apply twice making sure the surface is completely dry before you apply the sec- ond coat.
STEP 2: Using the same sponge roller (do not clean) add Jo Sonja’s Retarder Medium. Apply the shading effect in the cor- ners of the right top and bottom area using the roller with a sideload of Black Green.
LET’S PAINT
Refer to the Color Value Map on page 73 while painting and paint each element in this order: Leaves (small leaves, and one leaf of right Hydrangea), Hydrangeas (right and left), White Eustoma, White Roses, Rose Bud, Green Puff Balls, Green Berries, Veronicas, Mondo Grasses, Anthur- ium Large Leaves, Vibarnum Tinus Red Berries (left top area of center rose), Small Leaves (spread to the whole bou- quet), Stems Inside Glass, Glass, Tear Drops, anf Highlights of background area.
