Step 5: Apply Zia Teal as a base color on the Mandela. (See finished picture for ideas on where to paint the colors). Over the Zia Teal base, you will use a mixture of Sapphire Swift and Lavish Lovebirds to make a new color called Hummingbird.
Step 6: Double load your wet brush with Zia Teal and the new color (Hummingbird) and paint over the Zia Teal to make bolder. Make sure it is a soupy consistency as you apply. Add more water if necessary. Allow the UNiCORN SPiT to absorb into the grain.

Step 7: With a clean, wet brush, apply Blue Thunder to the misted wood. Make sure it is a soupy consistency as you apply. Add more water if necessary. Allow the UNiCORN SPiT to absorb into the grain.
Step 8: Apply Lemon Kiss or Golden Gosling to remaining areas on the mandala. You may choose to use turquoise or yellow to the outside background of the mandala.
Step 9: You are now ready to outline the mandala. Take your small squeeze bottle and pinch the tip so it fits in the grooves. Mix 1:1 ration of Black and water to your squeeze bottle and seal the tip with your fingers and shake to mix.
