Football runs in the family

Zach and Whit Weeks cannot agree on which of them is the best at playing Madden NFL.
When it comes to the popular football simulation video game, the two brothers each feel they are the best. Zach, the youngest of three brothers in the Weeks family, takes it a step further.
“I’ve always got to choose a bad team so then he won’t rage quit, and he’ll keep playing,” Zach said with a grin.
Though there are brotherly disagreements between Zach, Whit and their oldest brother, West, one thing unites them and their entire family: football.
Their father, David, was a three-year starting center on the Georgia football team.
David coached his three sons at various points in their own careers and, now, he serves as the offensive line coach at Oconee County High School, where West and Whit currently play. David also coaches Zach’s North Georgia Youth Football Association team.
David met his wife, Erin, when she was a cheerleading coach at OCHS. They raised their three sons in the football world. Their youngest child, daughter Kate, enjoys cheerleading.
