BIOGRAPHY
Keith Bernard Matthews, Jr., affectionately known as Spud, passed away suddenly on December 8, 2021. He was born in Enterprise, Alabama to Retasha Flowers and Keith Matthews, Sr. on September 10, 1995. From the moment he was born his inner radiance seemed to shine. Although reserved, he was
charismatic and people were drawn to him. At an early age, he displayed exceptional athletic abilities. He was an avid sports fan and athlete - he played football and baseball- but he was most passionate about basketball.
Spud had an entrepreneurial spirit that became evident as a child when he would offer to do chores for neighbors to earn money.
Spud attended Enterprise city schools and graduated from Daleville High School in 2013.
As far as personality, Spud was witty and had a great sense of humor. He was respectful and reticent, yet he was socially competent and thrived among his peers.
