HIS YEAR’S INSTALMENT OF THE ANNUAL GENESIS
Owner’s Cup took place at the incomparable Fairmont Banff Springs hotel and golf course. In collaboration with the NHL Alumni Association and SHARP, Genesis hosted multiple foursomes of owners, NHL players, and SHARP VIP guests for two days of dining, camaraderie, and golf. Genesis’s strong commitment to the charitable and benevolent initiatives of the NHLAA allowed for NHL greats such as Kevin Lowe, Glen Sather, and Mike Vernon to attend with the inimitable Glenn Healy MCing. Current NHL phenom Cale Makar was also in attendance to mix and mingle with the guests. One evening was a dedicated SHARP dinner wherein we brought our great partners The Dalmore Scotch Whisky and Grand Seiko onboard to further enhance the guest experience.
Guided by an overarching commitment to unparalleled hosting, guests were regaled with decades worth of NHL stories while they dined at the Vermillion Room. Afterwards, they were gifted Adidas golf attire and shoes upon returning to their Fairmont Gold Level suites. Additionally, guests were treated to a breathtaking drive from Banff from Calgary in a fleet of 2025 GV80s with their new expansive 27-inch screens and industry-leading user interface. They had the opportunity to be some of the first in Canada to see the new GV80 Coupe with its 409-hp twin-turbocharged and electrically supercharged V6.
