A A COACH IN YOUR CORNER
It’s my hope that that not only have have you you you been accepted to to the school of your dreams but that that in in moving through this this book and and and this this process you you you you have have grown as a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a student a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a communicator and and and a a a a a a a a a person and and that you you feel set up for success in in the journey ahead Each year year year I watch as the pressures students face become more more and and and more more dramatic The palate of stresses and and and worries evolves and and and shifts from from from year year year year year to to year year year year year Students express similar frustrations from from from year year year year to to year year year year whether that be the the the the pressure from from from peers school themselves or or yes parents and and families I I have students in in in in my my office stressing the the the the the state o of American life climate change and and myriad things they feel feel so so so completely adrift in in in in in in It all feels like too much for any any one student student to to to to uphold And it is All of of that on on on top of of the the the pressure from so so so many sources on on on getting into the the the “right” school You don’t control control an an admission officer’s decisions school policies or or or any other factors that dictate some things about life for ffor for incoming students But you you you you always control control your level o of effort and and and the the the way way way you you you you you treat people people I’m sorry for ffor for you you you you you to to have made it all the the the way way way through this book and and and and my best best piece of of advice at at at the the the the the end is is try hard and and and and be be be nice to to people people but doing your your best best work and and and and and treating others with kindness will yield the the the kind kind of of life you’ve imagined for yourself and and and allow you to imagine bigger and and and brighter things I I am am am very thankful to to have the the privilege of of working with high school students for for a a a a a a a a a a a living My philosophy is is that if I I I am am am at at at the the the the top of of my game by providing clear and and concise information then I I can help reduce anxiety levels for for both you you you and and and and your your parents during the the the college
