Client to Guide Ratios
SVHS maintains a client to guide ratio of not more than four clients to one guide. There will always be a minimum of two heli-skiing guides working in the field. Most commonly a maximum capacity of four groups can be serviced by a single helicopter, at a ratio of sixteen clients to four guides. However, there may be rare custom situations with more than four groups. There are rare instances, such as when a guide accompanies the helicopter pilot during refueling, in which two groups combine and are guided through simple terrain by one guide.
