Prefects
All our Prefects have made a brilliant impact this term and have remained an active presence around
the campus.
College Prefects
College Prefects have joined the Senior
Management Team for four Prefect Teas this
term where they have been thanked for their
contribution, diligence and commitment. This
term, they have been instrumental in supporting
the smooth running of several school events such
as Open Mornings, Sixth Form Open Evening,
Remembrance Service, Senior School Carol Service
and many more. Throughout the term, they have
also been reminded to look after themselves and to
speak to senior staff and the Senior Prefect Team if
they have needed support with their Prefect duties.
Boarding Prefects
Boarding prefects are appointed in Walled Garden
and Mansion boarding houses at October half term
to help members of staff on duty in the boarding
houses, typically once a week and support with
student welfare, maintaining the state of the
boarding houses and voicing boarders suggestions
to Houseparents at the regular House Prefects
meetings that take place. It is a prized role, rewarded
with prefect meals and trips throughout the year.
Prep School Prefects
As ever, our marvellous Prep School Prefects assist
with school events, such as this term’s Macmillan
Coffee Morning and meeting and greeting visitors
for our Conferences through the year. They are also
role models for the younger children and very much
look out for them.
