The autumn term is always a busy and exciting time of year in schools, and the catering department
is no exception.
When reviewing our activities to write this article
and find a topic to write about, it was impossible to
write about one subject. Food and beverage form a
part of almost everything that happens at Seaford
College, so it seems fitting to share a small montage
of pictures showcasing some of what we get up to in
the depths of the mansion building each day.
From tasting tables to theme events, and proms to
barbecues. We try to bring some fun and happiness
into the everyday at Seaford College.

Food waste remains a constant fight to always
minimise it.
In September it was 7.4%, October 8.2% and
November 9.3%. In comparison 2023 averaged
9.2%. Work continues with the Eco-Schools team
to try and reduce this further, with the Holroyd
Howe sustainability team scheduled to visit during
Green Week to share their knowledge with the
community.
